Who’s head am I in today?
I am thinking of a totally new way of writing. A way of writing that any one can read at any time and get ’something’ out of the daily/weekly prose. I am sharing my ideas with you, to see if it can work.
I would love to be clever enough to be able to do this.
Soaps on TV or radio have their fans and also their critics, but it has to be said that any one of any intellect can usually pick up on a story line, and get some story telling enjoyment (loose description) from a single episode. This in itself is a very clever skill, but I am sure it can be taken further. I am going to attempt in some way to do this but without the experience or format that the regular populars have!
Is this ambitious? Crazy? Am I wasting my time? I want to know if my thoughts, or any one else who follow this way of writing, will either work or interest followers. I myself would love to hear the rudimentary thoughts of the creators. Of any story. I assume if I were one of the writers of Eastenders or the Archers I would generate loads of interest. But is it possible to do this as a newbie?
I will explain..
To write on a daily basis, to add my current thoughts and to share with the readers my creation of a story. To jump from one ‘head’ to another, describing different characters at different times, and setting similarly different scenes on different days is my crude idea of how this will work.
Brilliant concept Chrissie – I’m all ears – bring on the randomness… and I guess that eventually we’ll become familiar with the heads that will (might) make up the characters of your story… cool!!!!
